Palestinian refugees are dispersed in many countries around the world, the majority reside in or around the geographical area of mandate Palestine. Although Gaza is not that far from the West Bank and the West Bank is not that far south of Lebanon and runs alongside Jordan; Palestinian refugees in these respective areas have virtually no contact with one another.
Separated by borders and prevented from crossing those borders by the Israeli Government Palestinians are becoming disenfranchised (refer to map).
Enlighten sees the internet as one way of transcending such physical borders. In essence if Palestinian refugee children were given the means of learning how to use and computers and communicate via the internet they would be able to communicate with one another.
